Head of Research, Dr. Philip Rhodes, has recently returned from a brief visit to Singapore. The trip was designed to include speaking engagements with 'The Research Pacific Group' at their annual conference. The Research Pacific Group is a well established research company covering South East Asia and includes delegates from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Japan and India.
The trip provided an opportunity to discuss the status of user experience research and design in Asia, and to identify partners to assist fhios in working on further international projects in the Asia region. The trip was part of a planned strategy for fhios to investigate new markets and further develop its international profile.
Upon his return, Philip noted that the meeting was "exceptional useful and provided clear evidence of the various possibilities in the East Asia region for collaborative usability and user experience research and design projects". fhios is currently working on a number of projects in Asia, and meeting delegates from The Research Pacific Group helps to reinforce the international research capabilities of fhios.
