Upgrading Eye-Tracking Technologies...

Eye tracking is a method that was viewed as quite niche and specialised, and brought to mind images of people wired up with strange contraptions perched on their heads. However, eye tracking has evolved into a sophisticated science and is a worthy technique to have in the research 'toolkit'. fhios has seen a general increase in the demand for eye-tracking over the last few months, as the technology has improved and clients see where benefits can be realised.

In response to this demand, fhios has upgraded its eye-tracking equipment, partnering with the leading eye-tracking manufacturer Tobii of Sweden, and installed a dedicated eye-tracking studio in London, backed up with a portable kit. This allows us to use state of the art Tobii Eye Trackers that provide a comprehensive system to efficiently collect gaze data. New features such as much larger head movement allowance, higher speed and automatic optimization of bright and dark pupil tracking makes eye tracking even more easy, efficient and accurate. When added to other features such as Eye point and click on objects, Automatic panning and zooming, Lightning fast switch between views and Prioritized information based on attention, it truly allows fhios to provide a first class eye-tracking service.
