
Meet the teamSigrun Thorsteinsdottir MA, BA(Hons), Senior Accessibility ConsultantSigrun graduated from the University of Westminster in 2002 with a MA degree in Interactive design. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology with special emphasis on Cognitive and Neurological Psychology and Statistical Analysis. In addition Sigrun has a Bachelors degree in Fine Art (Printmaking). Sigrun has worked on several projects and audits within the accessibility realm both in the UK as well as Iceland including audits on large corporate sites, legal firms, banks, online newspapers, government sites and more. She is currently working closely with the Icelandic Organization for the disabled as well as the Government, to promote and work towards better accessibility on websites. Sigrun has been a speaker at several conferences and has published articles on accessibility issues. Sigrun speaks Icelandic, English and Danish fluently and has basic understanding of French and Swahili. Sigrun is a GAWDS member (Guild of Accessible Web Designers).
